Stormhunter scroll by Carith de Cuevas

Carith de Cuevas made this truly  lovely scroll for an outgoing archery champion in Stromgard. She did the design, gilding and painting, with some really neat personal references for the recipient worked in. It was given out at Archery Academy, and was even more gorgeous in person.

She based it largely on a ca 1594-1596 Greek/ Old Church Slavonic Lectionary in the Walters Museum (W.535)
